Welcome to Rock 4x4 Accessories, where passion meets purpose on the rugged trails of adventure. Established in 2016, our journey began with a simple yet ambitious goal: to provide durable, high-quality off-road equipment at an affordable price.
It all started when our owner, Richard van Tonder, encountered a setback during one of his off-roading escapades with his trusty Disco 2 – a broken rear plastic bumper. Determined to overcome this obstacle, Richard took matters into his own hands and crafted the very first steel rear bumper, igniting the spark that would become Rock 4x4.
Driven by innovation and a love for the great outdoors, Rock 4x4 quickly evolved. Richard's vision expanded with the addition of his wife, Minie, who brought her expertise in crafting canvas accessories for both the interior and exterior of vehicles. Together, they transformed their humble beginnings into a family affair, with their son,Tiaan joining the ranks, bringing fresh perspectives and a new wave of energy to the company.
